This article really got me thinking: If private college is now becoming "necessary" then perhaps public college should have been done better?
Schools are already practicing privatization. They make a 50% profit, yearly... while, they should be only paying their bills, and employees, and maintaining their buildings, they seem to be able to still bank 50% according to economist.
So, if we are paying taxes, to go to schools, but they are being diverted into such and such.... perhaps we should be asking why?
We should stop spending 20billion a month on war.
Afghanistan is going to bankrupt the bankrupt, and foment WW4 (final unedited humanity (bare as you dare)).
Makes me really see the value of paying citizens to spend more time tracking funds, and maintaining good honest records. IE: taxation representation is only possible if we are not too busy trying to eek a living!

Re: Schooling
Sun, February 8, 2009 - 11:03 AMI try to make my unintentional community my intentional community. To that end, I say civil disobedience and nonparticipation in programs you disapprove of are essential activities.
That is why I don't pay taxes. Why should I let a State siphon off my life-force only to misuse it on bombs and our horrible schools?
You can't win their game by playing, you can only win by changing the rules. Why would we bother asking "why"? Why try to hold them accountable? Just withdraw from that particular system, encourage others to do so as well, and watch it atrophy like it aught to.
