Coyote Problems

If you're in a rural IC, beware coyotes. When hiking, carry pepper spray or a big stick! A woman was recently killed in Canada by coyotes. (A few months ago, an elderly couple out for a walk were killd by feral dogs here in the USA.)

    In my experience in dealing with four-legged coyotes, the line of defense goes...two and four legged meat eaters peeing on the property perimeter, lighting, radio playing, livestock guardian dog, pistol grip crossbow, shotgun. Never yet lost one of my productive friends to coyotes, though neighbors have.

    Two-legged coyotes require a different approach.
