Hello All...... Here is a little information about The Farm. The vision for The Farm is to become an artist colony / organic farm / green living, learning center.The Farm Is located Approx 40 miles north of San Francisco Ca. In the country 7 miles west of Petaluma Ca. The Farm is a little over 4 acres of very gently sloping southern, exposure land. The soil is a very fertile sandy loam. ( which should provide for the food needs of 15 persons with a reserve to market) The land has been zoned Rural /agricultural. (Which means you can live and farm the land, but can not sell products at that location) After 4 long hard years most of the land development work is done.The road is in. The property has been fenced. The well is in and produces over 30 gallons per minute. The septic design has been approved by the county for a large system. The electricity has been run to the property line. And the 40' x80' green house has been purchased. There currently is a 50'x50' pole tent that is serving as a barn/ gen purpose building. Now the land is ready to work, plant,harvest and build upon. What we need to do now is find a core group of people with the same vision. To create a life working in harmony, with the earth, and others. Persons that want to share all the work, laughter, and the expenses with the community. There is still a lot of work to do. We need to build The Barn/artist studios, The main meeting house, The community kitchen, The community bathrooms, and the separate/co living units. If your interested please contact us.
